In its first year in town, Cowtown Brewing Co. has quickly become the go-to place for all things beer. The Southlake outpost of the Fort Worth-based brewing company carries as many as 26 varieties at any given time while brewing 30 different beer styles.
One of the brewery’s most popular drinks is the Mexican-style lager La Mera Hora, while its Premium American Lager recently won a silver award from the U.S. Open Beer Championship over the summer.
With the holiday season just around the corner, the brewery is also preparing its seasonal offerings for guests. The Oktoberfest brew, dubbed The Last Kaiser, is a favorite among patrons.
“We look at what’s happening in the craft beer market, what craft beer connoisseurs are asking for and what fits into our model,” founder Billy Avila says. “We take a lot of care and consideration into each of our beers that we brew at Cowtown.”
