A Colleyville dining staple is celebrating a decade in the industry. Trio New American Cuisine invites their loyal diners and newbies alike to their 10-year anniversary event from March 20 to 23. Throughout that period, owner and executive chef Jason Harper will offer a special prix fixe menu.
The four-course meal will include Lobster Mac Bites; a Strawberry Arugula Salad or Thai Chicken Noodle Soup; Gochujang Ora King Salmon, Achiote Rubbed Hanger Steak or Bacon Wrapped Quail; and a Cereal Milk Brioche Bread Pudding. The night will also include complimentary champagne or a chef’s tasting option. For those who want to have a larger selection of options, the full dinner menu will also be available.
When reflecting on the past decade, Jason says he is just grateful for his diners and their support.
“On one hand, it seems like it has been that long,” Jason says. “It has been so much work and ups and downs. But on the other hand, my heart is filled with nothing but gratitude to the community and the people who have allowed us to do what we do.”
Throughout its tenure, Trio has been able to evolve based on customers’ input. And they credit their community’s backing for their success, especially with the competition and the industry’s nature.
“It’s incredibly humbling,” Jason says. “And it really just lights a fire in us to continue executing.”
Jason knows that the industry can be tough, so he wants people to get out there and show their patronage if they want a restaurant to stick around.
“Support, support, support your locally, independently owned restaurants if you love what they do,” Jason says.
