Love it or not, rosé is definitely having a moment. And that is coming to its peak this Saturday on National Rosé Day. If you can't get enough of the pink-hued drink, then we are rounding up the ways you can celebrate. So grab the girls, and head over to one of these five fun boozy events this weekend.
Do you believe you become a bit more creative after a glass of wine? Test your skills and that theory at Board & Brush in Colleyville. There will be a complimentary rosé bar for those who want to join in on their popular wood sign workshop. This Saturday's event will allow guests to create fun American flag-inspired designs. Just show up with the girls or your significant other, and they will provide all the materials and instruction you need to create a gorgeous décor piece for your home. Not to mention the wine to get your artistic juices flowing.
Flora Street Café National Rosé Day Tasting
Rosé lovers can take a quick trip over to the Dallas Arts District's Flora Street Café to find a fun National Rosé Day Tasting. The restaurant will feature two different flight tastings featuring wines from across the world. Whether you want to get a taste for the three sparkling selections for $25 or the three stills for $15, everyone will be able to find a new favorite rosé. The event runs from 4 to 10:30 p.m., so be prepared to leave your car there. After an evening of wine, you may have to Uber back to Southlake.
Kent & Co.'s Fourth Rosé Birthday
If you haven't visited Kent & Co. in Fort Worth, you have been missing out. This charming wine bistro has a wide selection of drinks and boards, not to mention a beautiful ambiance in the heart of Magnolia Avenue. Get in on the fun by stopping by the restaurant's fourth birthday party. And because this holiday falls on this year's National Rosé Day, they are cracking open a 15L of AIX Rosé to celebrate. The Saturday party will stretch from 12 p.m. to 1 a.m. the next morning and is set to include a DJ, special wine pricing, raffle giveaways and more.
Rosé Wine Walk On Henderson Avenue
This Saturday, Dallasites101 is hosting their second annual Rosé Wine Walk on Henderson Avenue. From 12 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, guests will “rosé all the way” down Henderson Avenue and can stop into different restaurants, boutiques and retailers to enjoy different complementary wine selections. Tickets run for $15, which basically pays for itself after your first few pours. And if that's not enough rosé for you, there is an afterparty at High Fives and Whippersnapper that starts immediately after the walk and includes a DJ and photographer.
WineTastic National Rosé Wine Day
For a more mellow celebration, head over to WineTastic to enjoy a flight of rosés for a special price. On Saturday from 3 to 10 p.m., they will be offering up flights – featuring three rosé selections – and a glass of your favorite from the set to enjoy after all for $20 (plus tax and gratuity). It is the perfect space to explore the wine shop's variety and maybe walk away with a new bottle that you have come to love.
