One cup of free coffee may earn you a free staycation at one of the most well-respected hotels in the Metroplex. Just head over to Otto's Coffee & Fine Foods on their opening day: Wednesday, April 18.
Those who have ventured down to, or stayed at, The Adolphus in Downtown Dallas know it for its unique aesthetic and luxurious amenities. And they are adding on to their offerings by introducing Otto’s.
This is the first Viennese-inspired restaurant in Dallas, and it will offer the first walk-up window serving Liège waffles and coffee. The infamous smell of waffle cone will circulate through the hotel, but the presentation of these delicious treats may be new to locals. The “waffle window” will offer its own take on the European-style handheld favorite that is served up with toppings like powdered sugar and house made fruit compote.
Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters are partnering up with Otto's to serve up quality coffee to those who want to grab a cup on the go or stay and savor their first – or fourth – cup of the day.
Otto's got its name from the general manager of The Adolphus from 1928 to 1946 known for his charismatic energy. That rich history, and mixed with the European roots of the hotel, make this stop one of a kind.
“There's a deeply rooted European heritage at The Adolphus, and we're looking forward to continuing that tradition with the first-and-only truly Viennese coffee shop in Dallas,” said Anthony Cournia, general manager of food and beverage operations.
So from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on April 18, Otto's will be serving up free coffee to locals. And three lucky winners will find a “golden ticket” on the bottom of their cups, which will give them a coveted room package including a one-night stay in a King Executive suite, $150 in food and beverage credit, $100 spa credit and complimentary valet parking. So if you're in Dallas next week, or want your chance at this one-of-a-kind offer, head over to the area's first and only Viennese-inspired restaurant around.
