The nation's only fast-casual chicken salad restaurant has opened its doors in Southlake this week.
Owned by John and Meggie Schissler, Chicken Salad Chick is a restaurant that makes fresh and delicious chicken salad every day, with flavors including Buffalo Barclay, Jalapeno Holly and Kickin' Kay Lynne. The Schisslers opened the very first Texas restaurant in Fort Worth in 2016. Since then, they've expanded to seven new restaurants in the Metroplex, including Southlake.
"When we decided to take the leap into bringing Chicken Salad Chick home to Texas. John and I had fallen in love with the idea of owning a small business and making a difference in the community," Meggie says via media release. "Providing jobs to our employees and Chick hospitality to our guests has been even more rewarding than we ever imagined."
The new Chicken Salad Chick is open now at 2101 E. Southlake Blvd. The first 50 guests to purchase a Chick Trio will receive either a free crossbody bag or a free Chick Trio upon their next visit.
