A new ice cream shop that has been called the No. 1 on the planet is opening in Southlake next week.
Established since 1945, Handel's Homemade Ice Cream is committed to selling ice cream made from fresh ingredients daily. Over 140 flavors are rotated seasonally to offer 48 fresh flavors daily. With over 100 locations across 11 states and growing, Handel's Ice Cream has received many accolades. Not only has it been called one of the Top 10 Best Ice Cream Businesses by "USA Today," but it has also been named the No. 1 ice cream on the planet by "National Geographic."
Now it's opening at 2645 E. Southlake Blvd. next week, and it's hosting a grand opening at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 6 to celebrate. The kickoff will include a balloon artist, raffles, music and scoops of its delicious ice cream. Plus, the first 100 people in line will receive free ice cream for a year.
"I picked Southlake because I wanted to be near the amazing food options it has to offer," franchisee Nicholas Clark says. "I love all the events Southlake does in the town square, and I’m looking forward to becoming a part of this community.”
