It didn't take restaurants long to start showing interest in the previous Big Beat Dallas space in Toyota Music Factory. Now a popular Fort Worth concept run by an Irving local is making its way to Las Colinas.
Reservoir – operated by Funky Lime Hospitality Concepts – will open across from Alamo Draft House on the Texas Lottery Plaza by the end of this year. MacArthur High School alum and president and CEO of Funky Lime Hospitality Concepts Emil Bragdon is excited to join this restaurant and entertainment district.
“I have been a fan of this area for quite some time,” Emil says. “The development they have created is absolutely stunning and the music venue is the best around. So when the opportunity arose, I jumped on it.”
Reservoir provides a combination of upscale bar food with a Southern flare perfect for those who want to dive into a comfortable meal. And their elevated cocktail menu and wide selection of brews prove to provide something refreshing for everyone.
For those who have ventured over to the first Reservoir bar and restaurant, expect to see a “slightly updated version of the six-year-old West 7th location,” Emil says.
But we are excited to see this local come back to his hometown to expand his restaurant portfolio.
“Now to be able to launch our second location less than a mile away from where I grew up and went to junior high and high school is a little surreal,” Emil says via press release. “I'm excited to bring some local flair to the area, and I know Reservoir will be a great addition to other amazing concepts and operators at Toyota Music Factory.”
Two other concepts, Kitchen 101 and Violet Room from the owner of Sambuca, are currently under construction and are expected to open by the end of 2018. Stay tuned to see what else will be popping up at Toyota Music Factory.
