After closing its doors a year ago, Sam’s Club announced plans to reopen in Grapevine in late 2024.
A division of Walmart Inc., Sam’s Club is a leading membership warehouse club that sells a variety of electronics, furniture, home goods and grocery items to its members. While the Grapevine location has been available to residents for several years, it closed late last year experiencing significant storm damage from a tornado that blew through the area, including a portion of the roof being ripped off. But after being closed for over a year, Sam’s Club has confirmed that it plans to reopen later next year.
“We are delighted to welcome back Sam’s Club to our community,” Grapevine mayor William D. Tate says via media release. “Sam’s Club has been a valued establishment for nearly 20 years in Grapevine, and the reopening will not only bring convenience to our residents but also contribute to the economic prosperity of Grapevine.”
According to a media release, the reinvigorated Sam’s Club will reintroduce an enhanced shopping experience for its members, showcasing cutting-edge technology, improved services and a selection of high-quality goods at reasonable prices. As part of its reopening, Sam’s Club will also give $30,000 through a grant and in-kind donations to GRACE Grapevine.
Sam’s Club will reopen next year at 1701 W. State Hwy. 114. To stay up to date on Sam’s Club’s reopening, visit SamsClub.com.
