Southlake’s first Taco Casa opened this past Thursday near Highway 114. The Mexican fast-food franchise that operates over 100 restaurants across Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas serves several Mexican delights including its super burritos, super nachos and super tostadas, with most of its food items piled with real cheddar cheese and 100% ground beef.
The new Southlake location opened inside Scooter’s Superstore next to the Chevron gas station. Before the Southlake location opened, the closest Taco Casa was in Grapevine. Both locations are owned by the same franchise owner, Gene Upshaw.
