You don’t have to travel to Paris to taste the fresh, authentic flavors of a French bistro. Thanks to La Parisienne, all you have to do is drive to The Star In Frisco.
Inspired by the romantic City of Light, La Parisienne French Bistro serves authentic French cuisine for lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and high tea. This new and exciting restaurant is the creative vision of Mondi Tag, a thriving restaurateur with over two decades of experience. Born and raised in Texas, Tag became the youngest female franchisee for Dickey's BBQ at 19 and later went on to manage Genghis Grill in Dallas. With a passion for food and an innate entrepreneurial spirit, Mondi set her sights on creating La Parisienne, inspired by one of her favorite places to travel.
“I love traveling to slow down from the everyday hustle and do as the French do,” Mondi says. “We designed the space in hopes that our guests will feel as if they are sitting in a chic bistro in Paris.”
La Parisienne French Bistro exudes an ambiance of elegance and sophistication, reminiscent of a chic bistro in Paris. Be swept away by Tiffany Blue accents, water features, 3D murals, dazzling chandeliers and a stunning array of greenery and florals that create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Indulge in mouth-watering entrees such as the Coq Au Vin with tender chicken, porcini mushrooms and red onions, all simmered in red wine to create a rich flavor. For vegetarians, there's the rich and flavorful Bourguignon with mixed baby veggies and potatoes. You can’t go wrong with a French classic like Moules Marinières et Frite, which boasts savory mussels cooked to perfection paired with garlic, shallots, parsley and crispy pommes frites.
Customers can pick from a variety of drinks to pair with their meal, including Illy coffee, Tea Forté high tea and French cocktails like Parmida’s La Vie En Rose, made with Ketel One Grapefruit and rose, and The Boulevardier, made with Elijah Craig Bourbon. For those with a sweet tooth, the housemade desserts are the perfect way to end a meal, with the dessert menu including Mille Feuilles, hazelnut pralines and eclairs.
With its carefully crafted menu, signature housemade desserts and extensive drink selection, La Parisienne French Bistro will take you from the Star all the way to Paris.
