Scout’s Honor
It’s All Fun And Games At This Flower Mound Outpost.

Refined Hospitality opened the first location of their popular gaming lounge Scout inside The Statler Hotel in Dallas in 2018. Highlighted by four reservable bowling lanes, pool tables, foosball and ping-pong tables and an extensive bar menu, the concept quickly became a go-to place for Dallas’ after-work crowd.
In May of last year, Scout opened a second location at Flower Mound’s River Walk development — over 158 acres of retail, dining and residential spaces that surround a waterfront shopping and entertainment district. While five new restaurants are being added later this year, river walkers still have some time to grab a drink or two at this lively venue.
Scout visitors should come ready for action when they enter the buzzing Flower Mound hotspot. Like the Dallas location, there are two reservable pool tables, foosball tables and plenty of arcade classics like Skee Ball, air hockey, hoops and arcade games to feed your inner competitive self.
To all the regular action, Scout has added some interactive fun. Trivia takes over on Wednesday nights with their “Geeks Who Drink” competition for plenty of prizes, including a $100 gift card for the winning team. On the weekends, many come for the games but stay for the live entertainment. Friday nights feature Papi’s Amazing Piano Interactive that will have you singing along to your favorite requested tunes from the 1970s to the 2000s. Saturdays get even rowdier when local and regional acts hit the stage for live sets from 7-10 p.m.
A good time like this deserves a hearty meal, and when it's time to fuel up, Scout offers a full menu that will keep the fun flowing. A classic bar food menu of pizzas and apps is highlighted by The Tildogger Burger. With 1 pound of ground beef, this burger is more than a handful with a topping of Vermont-aged cheddar cheese, hickory smoked bacon and all the fixings. The kitchen also serves up refined comfort food for all ages, including the Fork & Knife Grilled Cheese that comes stacked high with beef short rib and house pimento cheese on buttered Texas toast.
There are several options for seafood lovers that range from a classic fish and chips to a barbecue citrus-glazed salmon served with blue cheese and a pecan coleslaw. A little NoLa flavor is on hand thanks to a Creole blackened shrimp entree, where andouille sausage and roasted red peppers are served over linguini in a creamy cajun sauce.
Those of age will also enjoy an expansive selection of a dozen or more draft beers, wines and cocktails. The Blackberry Buck combines Balcones Texas Rye, blackberry puree, ginger beer and lemon juice for a refreshing sip. Others will enjoy their take on the classic Paloma that infuses a hibiscus tequila with Aperol, honey, lime and sparkling grapefruit soda.
Whether you come to sing and play or just watch games with family and friends, Scout’s culled all the action into one place just for you.
