As part of Central Market’s Big Tastes of Texas event from May 15 to 28, the gourmet grocery store will host a free in-store tasting event. Guests can stop by the Southlake location on Sunday, May 26 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. to enjoy samples and stories from each department.
This event will feature products from Texas farmers, growers and entrepreneurs including Texas blueberries, Crimini mushrooms, off-the-vine tomatoes, vine-ripe honeydew, sweet onions and much more. You can learn more about their offerings here.
Southlake’s Central Market will also host a special cooking class this Sunday focusing on creating a Lone Star Brunch. There are still a few spots available if you want to learn how to create a seasonal spread using local ingredients. Participants will make bruleed Texas peaches, eggs benedict with beef tenderloin and jalapeno hollandaise, cast iron pappas con chorizo and pecan sticky buns.
