Subway Restaurants Chocolate Cookie
Subway is offering a sneak peek of its new footlong cookie, only on National Cookie Day.
Last year, Subway launched a "Cookieway" pop-up offering a limited run of footlong cookies in celebration of National Cookie Day. Fans gobbled up the inventory in less than two hours, urging the sandwich chain to bring more dough to this year's show.
On National Cookie Day, Monday, Dec. 4, fans can visit Subway's Dallas location at 1222 Commerce St. from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. to score a free footlong cookie with the purchase of a footlong sub.
Believe it or not, Subway sells more freshly-baked cookies than any other restaurant company in the United States. Using their signature footlong subs as a launching pad, Subway plans to be the exclusive home of the footlong cookie.
"The overwhelming response we received from fans around the country last year let us know that we needed to make the footlong cookie a permanent addition to our menu," says Paul Fabre, Senior Vice President of Culinary and Innovation at Subway. "This year, our guests will get a sneak peek of an even better footlong cookie: thick, gooey, packed with chocolate chips and served warm – right out of the oven. It's the perfect pairing with your favorite footlong sub and may even become your favorite footlong after the first bite."
Don't worry if you can't make it to the Dallas location on National Cookie Day, they are celebrating the signature sweet nationwide all month long. Better still, Every cookie sold through Dec. 31 will support the Subway Cares Foundation.
