Are you hungry for the 2018-2019 Texas Rangers' season to start? Prepare your stomach because they are bringing it this year. And we are talking about more than just their game.
The Texas Rangers have announced several new menu additions to their already wide selection of ballpark food options. So if you are heading out on opening day, here are a few dishes to keep an eye out for. One thing is for sure, you better come with an empty stomach.
The Dilly Dog
Have you ever gone back and forth deciding between a hotdog and pickle? Never again will you have to choose with The Dilly Dog. Head over to the State Fare Stand to get the Best Maid dill pickle stuffed with an Angus Beef Jumbo dog and fried to golden brown perfection. It's both sweet and tart all at the same time.
The Triple B
What happens when you mix bacon, brisket and bologna together with Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce? The Triple B! This is a two-hand kind of sandwich that takes concentration, so be sure to bite into this one while sitting down. This massive order is available at the Homeplate Butcher Block and the Smokehouse 557, and is sure to keep you satisfied all game long.
Cheetos Jalapeno Bacon Dog
For a bit of heat and a whole lot of crunch, head to the American Dog stand for the Cheetos Jalapeno Bacon Dog. The all-beef hotdog is wrapped in bacon, covered with cheese sauce and topped with jalapenos and crunchy Cheetos. Grab some napkins to go with it – no one likes Cheeto fingers.
Vegan Grande Nachos
If you are out at the game with a vegetarian or vegan, stopping by the Ballpark Vegan Stand is essential. While there, order up the Vegan Grande Nachos. Topped with vegan chili, vegan cheese sauce, lettuce, tomato, olives and Beyond Crumbles, this dish is big enough to share.
Seventh Inning Cinnamon Roll
For a dessert to round out the bases, grab a Seventh Inning Cinnamon Roll at the State Fare Stand. The massive iced cinnamon bun is battered and fried before it is topped with raspberry and chocolate sauce. Sounds like a home run to us!
These new menu items may have some die-hard fans asking, whatever happened to enjoying a good ol' hotdog with a cold beer? But if you are all about these extreme eats, get ready to play ball.
