Wildwood Grill is supporting thebrlocal community and fellow business owners one beer at a time. Grapevine CraftbrBrewery is gearing up to debut its first signature craft beer to residents andbrbeer lovers during its launch party at 5 p.m. on Dec. 4 at the restaurant.
WildwoodbrGrill will host a tasting event that will feature flight tastings, pints andbrTexas tall drafts of the craft beer Lakefire. The spicy rye pale ale debuted onbrNov. 27 and is the first of four signature beers that Grapevine Craft Brewerybrwill produce.
Nothingbrgoes better with a cold one than burgers. As a result, Wildwood Grill isbroffering an expanded burger selection to accompany the distinctive brew.
“We arebrwild about great food and Texas beer at Wildwood, so this is the perfect combination,”brsays Wildwood Grill co-owner Dave Garner. “As an independent restaurant, we arebrvery excited to support this local brewery and to be the first restaurant inbrthe area to pour its craft beers.”
GrapevinebrCraft Brewery is the only microbrewery located between Dallas and Fort Worth,brand is a welcome addition to the local dining scene and various wineries.
The brewerybris currently located in a product facility in Farmers Branch. However,brconstruction is underway on an 8,100 square-foot building in historicbrGrapevine that will feature a tasting room, outdoor patio and 30-barrellbrbrewhouse.
GrapevinebrCraft Brewery founder and CEO Gary Humble, along with his two brew masters,brwill be on deck during the event to explain the brewing process and answerbrquestions.
“We have been working on makingbrGrapevine Craft Brewery a reality for more than a year,” Humble said. “And asbrwe launch our brewery, we are excited that one of the very first accounts tobrserve Lakefire Rye Pale Ale is Wildwood Grill.”
The idea behind the launch party isbrnot only to honor the craftsmanship Grapevine Craft Brewery brings to thebrtable, but to also highlight the camaraderie of local businesses and loyalbrresidents.
“Our goal has always been to offerbrclassic cuisine in a comfortable environment, where you don't have to wear abrtie to get the best steak in town,” Garner said.
