A blend of energetic performances, talented cast members and comedy creates an all-new production, "The Grapevine Opry Show."
A new era began at Grapevine's Palace Theatre this week, leaving audience members dancing in the aisles. "The Grapevine Opry Show" debuted its' brand new, high-energy production, which highlighted local talent.
Grapevine Opry veteran Lani Stacy assumed the role of show producer after the retirement of Rocky Gribble in December. Lani, who started performing with the Grapevine Orpy when she was 9-years old, has been performing for nearly 30 years.
"Dream Big Productions is excited and honored to continue the tradition of the established and historic family entertainment known the world over as the Grapevine Opry,” Stacy says. “With a renewed vision for the future, we intend to continue providing our community the absolute best entertainment value in Dallas/Fort Worth."
Lani was a featured performer at the State Fair of Texas and her career also included opening for various big-named country acts, including Reba McEntire, Bryan White and Shenandoah.
"The Grapevine Opry Show" will feature country music favorites and hits from various decades, ranging from the '40s to the '70s. Shows will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Saturdays at 300 S. Main St., Grapevine. Tickets for the production are $25 and can be purchased via phone or website.
