Who's excited for Easter? We know we can't wait to spend a bit more quality time with our loved ones. If you are still planning out your weekend, hop to it by stopping by one of these egg-cellent weekend activities.
Good Friday Baseball and Softball Camp
If your child is out of school on Friday, help them improve their baseball or softball skills at D-Bat DFW's day camp. Kids will learn techniques to improve their bat speed and increase their throwing velocity, all while working on the proper mechanics behind throwing and fielding. Sign up your 6 to 12 year olds for a day full of fun. Just make sure to send them over with all their gear ready to go.
Make Easter a splash by heading over to Flower Mound to participate in their Underwater Egg Hunt. Come out Saturday for a day full of arts, crafts, games and egg-cellent activities. Plus, the Easter Bunny is said to make an appearance. If your child is a new swimmer, make sure to bring your suit so you can jump into the water with them. Pre-registration is required, so reserve your spot today.
One of the most highly anticipated food and entertainment destinations is finally open to the public. Come see what the Texas-sized Big Beat Dallas is all about during their Grand Opening Weekend. Running Thursday to Sunday, their agenda is full of fun activities for the whole family including adult Easter egg hunts, radio station appearances and restaurant promotions. There will also be plenty of live concerts and giveaways sprinkled in throughout the weekend. Come out to get a taste of the fun.
Seventh Rabbit Hunt & Easter Event
The Colleyville Lions Club is hosting a day full of family-friendly fun at their seventh Annual Rabbit Hunt and Easter Event. This Saturday, locals will come out to the Delaney Vineyards in Grapevine for an afternoon of food, prizes, raffles, bounce houses and face painting. Plus, some of your child's favorite characters will be out celebrating – like Elmo, Mad Hatter, Alice and The Ringmaster. And Mr. and Mrs. Bunny will be pulling up in style in a Mercedes. And you may roll out with one if you win the day's raffle! You never know what can happen.
Hop aboard the Grapevine Easter Bunny Train. This Easter Sunday, enjoy a family-friendly train ride full of games and sweet treats. While the round trip may only last an hour, it's packed in with enough fun to brighten up the whole day. Or, it could be a great treat for the kids after a day full of church. The train leaves the station at 2 p.m., so make sure to be at the Grapevine Vintage Railroad ready to go before then.
