Ohlook Performing Arts Center is a 501c3 organization which came on the scene in 2002 to bringing the fine arts to the DFW area through classes, workshops, and theatrical performances for children and adults. Founded by professional singers, Matthew Lord (of the 3 Redneck Tenors) and Jill Blalock Lord, word quickly grew about this little theatre in this tiny space where kids could come and be themselves. Originally organized to introduce, teach and mentor children and young adults, from ages 3 to 18, to the joy of live theatre, it has now grown to include an adult performing company. The Adult Performing Company prides itself on producing out of the ordinary pieces, musicals and straight plays, and works which often “push the envelope.”
