In Southlake Boy Scout Troop 168, there’s never a dull moment. Over the summer, the troop’s seniorbrscouts tackled a 40-mile-high adventure trek at Philmont Scout Ranch in NewbrMexico. The ranch is one of the largest youth camps in the world in land area,brcovering 140,000 acres of wilderness in northern New Mexico.
The troop's youngerbrscouts journeyed to Camp Buffalo Bill near Cody, Wyoming, visiting iconicbrdestinations including Yellowstone Park and Mount Rushmore. The scouts alsobrparticipated in various merit badge activities.
Troop 168 is sponsored bybrSt. Laurence Church in Southlake and is led by boys from Southlake and neighboringbrcommunities. Open to boys in 5th through 12th grade, thebrtroop meets Sundays at 4 p.m. at St. Laurence Church. Visit BSA168.org for morebrinformation.
