Dr. Brian Rich
“I’ve just begun seeing Dr. Rich. He actually took time to get to know me and discuss all areas of helping my pain.” — Nancy R.
As a former competitive cyclist and endurance athlete, Dr. Brian Rich personally knows how much pain can affect someone’s life. After a debilitating injury prevented him from competing any further, Dr. Rich applied his discipline towards studying interventional spine and pain procedures in order to help others towards recovery.
After running his own practice in Oklahoma for five years, Dr. Rich now brings his orthopedic expertise to his second office in Southlake.
“I didn’t come to Southlake looking to open a new location — Southlake came to me asking to open an office,” Dr. Rich says. “There really isn’t another physician in the area that does the full scope of procedures that I do.”
As a board-certified, fellowship-trained specialist, Dr. Rich directly consults with his patients to determine what is exactly bothering them. Specializing in patients 55 and older who either can’t have surgery or have already had surgery and are still in pain, Dr. Rich utilizes his extensive medical knowledge to help people find the relief that they need.
“I don’t try to run a high-volume practice,” Dr. Rich says. “Every new visit, I’m going to sit down and spend a good amount of time with you — at least 30 minutes, talking to you, asking you questions, finding out what you have done and finding ways I can help you.”
Dr. Rich achieves those results through minimally invasive procedures, whether it's through interspinous and sacroiliac joint infusions, vertebral augmentations, radiofrequency ablations or peripheral nerve stimulations. As an independent provider, Dr. Rich prides himself in always doing what’s best for his patients.
“Every single patient’s measure of success is if they’re still in pain,” Dr. Rich says. “It doesn’t matter what I do or what the X-ray says. If there’s an area that’s causing them pain, that’s where I focus.”
Whether you are having trouble in the hip, knee, neck, shoulder or back, Dr. Rich can help you get back to a pain-free lifestyle.
