The APEX Arts League is continuing its mission to advance art, artists and education in DFW.
A home for the arts in Southlake and beyond, the APEX Arts League recently released its event calendar for the 2023-2024 season. It all kicks off on Sept. 10 with a brand new art exhibit debut, plus a live music performance at White’s Chapel on Sept. 17. October will feature a cinema d’arte event and a Dallas Symphony Orchestra Concert Truck, which will be rolling into North Park on Oct. 29. The Avant Chamber Ballet will perform its annual “Nutcracker: Short And Suite” show on Nov. 26, while the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra will host its holiday concert on Dec. 19.
On Jan. 14, the DSO will be on the go once again before the guitar and tango take over White’s Chapel on Feb. 4. The Strokes Of Art In The Square reception will take place on Feb. 18, followed by the APEX Jazz Fest on Feb. 24. In March, a triple dose of chamber music, cinema and cabaret theater will take place before jumping into the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra family concert on April 14. The Avant Chamber Ballet will make its encore on May 12, with an art reception to follow on May 19. Finally, June closes out the calendar with an Asian-inspired chamber music performance and one last cinema d’arte event.
