The largest floral festival in the Southwest returns for its 39th annual season this weekend.
Since 1984, Dallas Blooms has entertained locals with 500,000 spring-blooming bulbs, hundreds of Japanese cherry trees and thousands of azaleas. While this year’s festival will feature all of the flowers you’ve come to love, a new exhibition will highlight some of Gary Lee Price’s great contributors, including Ruby Bridges, Harriet Tubman, Mother Teresa and Amelia Earhart. Live music will also take place every weekend at 12 and 2 p.m., and the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden will also be open for young ones all season long.
