Every year, Southlake’s annual Stars & Stripes festival brings over 35,000 people together with an incredible spectacle of community spirit and patriotic pride. Next month, the city will be celebrating 25 years of family, fun and fireworks in Southlake Town Square.
Kicking off at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, Stars & Stripes will start with a plethora of activities for the whole family to enjoy. From mini-golf to jumbo yard games to street performers, there’s something for everyone to enjoy around Rustin Pavilion. Live musicians will play throughout the afternoon, including powerful marches and anthems from our very own Southlake Community Band. And delicious concessions will be available from local vendors, serving everything from Kona Ice to Feedstore BBQ. Parlor Doughnuts will even award prizes for those who can conquer their doughnut-eating contest.
Children will also enjoy themselves at the Kids Corner, which will offer endless entertainment through balloon artists, inflatable games, bubble machines, arts and crafts and even a cake walk. But at 9:30 p.m., the grand finale arrives with the iconic fireworks show, which dazzles as the night sky erupts into a bright and vibrant display of patriotic colors. Between breathtaking fireworks, local musicians, festive food and limitless fun for the whole family, it’s no wonder why Stars & Stripes continues to unite the community through their shared love of the red, white and blue.
