Back in 2007, a group of 300 runners gathered in Doylestown, Pa., to pay tribute to the late 1st Lt. Travis Manion. Since then, the 9/11 Heroes Run has grown into a nationwide phenomenon with races across the country. Welcoming runners of all skill levels, the DFW 9/11 Heroes Run 1 mile and 5k takes place at 9:11 a.m. at River Legacy Park.
