But if you find yourself outside of the city leading up to July 4, there are other fireworks shows around the metroplex where you can still experience the same patriotic joys that Independence Day brings.

Roanoke’s 3rd Of July Celebration
Roanoke’s 3rd of July celebration has it all. With bounce houses, face-painting, games and giveaways, a pie-eating competition, a live performance from the Emerald City band and fireworks popping off at the end of the night, Roanoke’s Independence Day festival delivers free fun for the whole family.
After the New Horizons Band wraps up its performance at the Carrollton Senior Center, bring out the whole family at 9:30 p.m. on July 3 for Carrollton’s annual Fireworks Show over Josey Ranch Lake. You’ll be happy that your family got to experience this dazzling display of the red, white and blue.
Grapevine’s Fireworks Extravaganza
Lakeside views and patriotic tunes are what families have to look forward to at Grapevine’s Fireworks Extravaganza. Fireworks will set off from three different firing positions to make sure everyone gets a good view of the show. Don’t forget to tune in either to Soundcloud or the city’s website to listen to its rocking soundtrack while you watch the show.
Trophy Club’s Parade Of Patriots
Start decorating your floats, vehicles and golf carts, because Trophy Club is back with its annual Parade of Patriots. Starting at 9:30 a.m., the city’s Fourth of July celebration will kick off with a parade starting at Byron Nelson High School. After the Patriot 5K and fun run, stick around for the fireworks show that will light up around 9:40 p.m.
Flower Mound’s Independence Fest
Flower Mound is going all-out for this year’s Independence Fest. Not only will there be a children’s parade, a vintage car show, food trucks and a stunning fireworks show to cap it all off, but the Eli Young Band will be headlining this year’s festival and perform all of their biggest hits, including “Crazy Girl,” “Drunk Last Night” and “Even If It Breaks Your Heart.”
