The Dallas Zoo welcomed a new baby giraffe in late March. Kora, a female calf, was born to parents Chrystal and Tebogo on March 19. The baby giraffe, whose name honors the Kora National Park in Kenya, is healthy and will soon be making appearances in the zoo’s feed yard.
The Dallas Zoo is touted as “the largest zoological experience in Texas” and is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
