Start your weekend off right by attending a Butterfly Cupcakes Workshop! From 10 to 11 a.m. on April 19 at Taste Buds Kitchen Southlake, children ages 2 to 8 can learn how to make cupcakes from scratch and then decorate them to look like butterflies. Tickets are $28 for each child with a caregiver.
Kids Movie Saturday: Easter Edition: Peter Rabbit
If you want to attend an Easter event that's not an egg hunt, look no further than the Lava Cantina The Colony. On Saturday, April 20, Lava Cantina will be doing a free showing of Peter Rabbit for their Kids Movie Saturday this weekend. Starting at 1 p.m., there will be free arts and crafts for kids to do and attendees can enjoy $2 off kids meals for the entire movie.
On Saturday, April 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be 15 various engines and trucks for kids to explore at Tanger Outlet, Fort Worth's free Engine Extravaganza. From police and fire trucks to SWAT and garbage trucks, there will be plenty for your child to see and explore. This event will happen in the Tanger Outlet, Fort Worth's parking lot behind Forever21 and H&M and all attendees will get a 25 percent off TangerStyle coupon.
Would it really be Easter without doing an egg hunt this weekend? On Saturday, the Timarron Country Club will be hosting their Easter Eggstravaganza from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will start with a breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. with the egg hunt taking place at 11:30 a.m. There will also be a petting zoo for attendees to enjoy.
Sensory Sunday at the Crayola Experience Plano
Head out to the Crayola Experience Plano for their Sensory Sunday on April 21 from 9 to 11 a.m. The museum will be adapted for the needs of children with sensory issues with dimmed lights, no music and a quiet space should children need it. Crayola Experience Plano will also have a special character appearance for attendees to enjoy.
