Want to learn the art of clowning around? Come to the Grapevine Public Library at 2 p.m. on Friday at 1201 Municipal Way and discover the ins and outs of what it means to be a clown. You’ll learn the history of circus clowns, put on clown makeup, dance and become the clown you were always meant to be. Don’t forget to put on your clown nose!
St. Patties Day Rainbow Cupcakes
St. Patrick’s Day may be most recognizable by the color green, but this weekend, Taste Buds Kitchen will recognize St. Patrick’s Day with all the colors of the rainbow. Come to the kitchen at 9 a.m. on Saturday at 2140 E. Southlake Blvd., Suite V and make rainbow cupcakes complete with green, red, blue, yellow and more. You’ll be green with envy with all of these delicious desserts!
If you’ve already got your green hat, kilt and beer, the only thing you’re missing are the dogs to share St. Patrick's Day with. Thankfully, Pet Supermarket has got you covered with its dog adoption event at 11 a.m. on Saturday at 5611 Colleyville Blvd. Pet and play with these sweet animals, and maybe even take one home with you before you take them to the parades next week.
Grapevine Elks Lodge Crawfish Boil
The Grapevine Elks Lodge is boiling up a great time at its annual crawfish boil this weekend. From 11 a.m.-11 p.m. on Saturday at 909 Bushong Road, Grapevine Elks Lodge will pile pound after pound of crawfish one on top of each other for a deliciously spicy experience. Come hungry as there will also be boiled shrimp, sausage, chicken jambalaya and smoked barbecue brisket. Tickets are $35.
From pots of gold to leprechaun lookout goggles, Market by Macy’s is crafting an assortment of creations for St. Patrick’s Day – and you’re invited to join them! Come to the St. Patrick’s Day crafting event at 2 p.m. on Sunday at 321 State St. and shape a bunch of colorful, creative Irish objects just in time for St. Paddy's Day. After all, why pluck a four-leafed clover when you can just make one yourself?
