Fall has finally come around, and this weekend reflects that with its assortment of seasonal events and festivals. From a holiday extravaganza in Colleyville to Heritage Elementary's fall festival in Grapevine, there's so much to do around the Metroplex.
There's only one way to make a pancake better, and that's by putting all of its fluffy flavors into a muffin. Taste Buds Kitchen is hosting a mini muffins workshop at 9 a.m. on Saturday at 2140 E. Southlake Blvd. For $28, you and your child can bake your own pancake mini muffins with some of your favorite delicacies, such as blueberries and chocolate chips. Breakfast has never tasted so sweet.
Christmas came early this year for the First United Methodist Church in Colleyville. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at 1000 Church St., you can get into the holiday spirit with the help of your fellow elves at the church. A craft fair, silent auction, bake sale and delicious barbecue will all be part of this fun and exciting holiday splurge. Stop by before you get some early Christmas shopping in!
Heritage Elementary Fall Festival 2019
Heritage Elementary School is putting on an exciting fall festival over the weekend at its campus, and you're invited to come out and join them! The festival is going on from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at 4500 Heritage Ave. Come on out and enjoy all of the fall fun the festival has to offer, including carnival games, bounce houses, inflatable obstacle courses and so much more. Don't forget to put your name in for its silent auction, and stick around for a free outdoor movie afterward.
Carroll Elementary Dog Bath Fundraiser
Want to give your puppy pal a much-needed bath while donating to a great cause this weekend? Come to Carroll Elementary’s Dog bath fundraiser all day Saturday at 100 W. Southlake Blvd. and give your dog the soak and suds treatment they deserve. Donate to the Elementary campus and get a good rinse in for your favorite canine. It’ll benefit both your dog and the students at Carroll Elementary School.
Board and Brush Princess Party
"Frozen 2" may be coming out later this month, but this weekend you’ll get the only chance to meet Queen Elsa live and in-person! From 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at Board & Brush Colleyville, you’ll get to paint signs, take pictures and meet Queen Elsa before you go and see her newest movie later this month. Tickets are $45, but it’s worth it for the chance to build a snowman with the ice queen herself!
