ItalianCarFest
A record-setting 100 modern and classic Italian vehicles will be featured at Grapevine’s 16th annual ItalianCarFest.
The festival features several modern and classic Italian vehicles, from Fiats and Ferraris to Lamborghinis and Maseratis. The theme for this year’s event is the “Italian Connection,” and city communications coordinator Emily Adams says it ties together with the city’s upcoming Grapefest, which runs from September 12 to 14.
“The event has become a staple for car enthusiasts and families alike, as it’s the largest pre-festival event leading up to GrapeFest every year,” Emily says. “Cars are judged in more than a dozen categories, including the Mayor’s Award.”
For the second year in a row, Emily says a special display featuring all of the Best of Show winners from 2003 onward will be featured for the second year in a row. Refreshments including beer, wine and soft drinks will be available, with Italian food by Chez Fabien and Main Street Bistro will be available for purchase.
If you would like to go to the free event, come to the Nash Farm at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 7 at 626 Ball Street. To learn more about the festival, visit ItalianCarFest.org.
