A new store concept from Hallmark Cards called HMK will be coming to Southlake Town Square, according to Retail Properties of America.
HMK is a boutique-style retail experience featuring various items, including home decor items, children gifts, accessories and Hallmark greeting cards.
The store is focused on in-store personalization, which uses the latest technology that appeals to tech-savvy shoppers.
The Southlake Town Square HMK location will be the first in Texas and the second retail location nationwide.
"Southlake Town Square is known for attracting new concepts early such as the first Boston Proper and the first Soft Surroundings in Texas" says Jason Kasal, vice president, senior leasing director, south region. "We are excited to be home to the first HMK in Texas and think their personalization and customization will really appeal to our customers."
HMK is expected to open at Southlake Town Square in early April 2014.
"We're eager to introduce HMK to people in the Southlake area because we believe they will love the way the store shares Hallmark's artistry and enables gift personalization in very new and unique ways," says Jack Moore, president — Hallmark specialty retail. "HMK, while it is still a store concept we are evolving, brings the best elements of the Hallmark brand to life in a new way. Shopping at HMK invites consumers to be part of the design process so they can create and present a gift that is truly unique and personalized."
