For several years, the Lucchese Bootmaker Company's many partnerships have realized new and high-quality designs for its customers, whether they’re with Parker McCollum, Stephanie Quayle or the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. Now their newest collaboration with Grammy Award-winning artist Chris Stapleton has brought about some of its greatest boots yet.
Founded in 1883, Lucchese hand-crafts cowboy boots with unrivaled skill and quality. Using the finest leather skins that they cut and tool themselves, every boot Lucchese touches is made with care and craftsmanship in mind. It’s for that exact reason that Chris Stapleton has been a fan long before their partnership even began.
“The product has been five years in the making, but we’ve known him for 10,” product vice president Doug Hogue says. “He was in El Paso for a concert, he came for a tour of the factory and it was kind of love at first sight for him.”
The Chris Stapleton collection includes three different boot designs, all of which say something about tradition, quality and vintage designs. The Old Friend has a Western silhouette and supple suede leather that pays homage to Chris’ influences, while the San Antonio is made of high-quality goat leather. But The Original is the most luxurious of these designs and is made from pure buffalo leather for a stylish and authentic fit.
“I’m of the mind that everything can be refined to an art,” Stapleton says via media release. “That’s what I love about Lucchese boots — they’ve taken bookmaking and refined it into an art.”
The Chris Stapleton collection ranges from $695-$1,195 per pair, with a portion of proceeds going towards Chris’ charitable fund Outlaw State Of Kind. You can shop and learn more about the collaboration at Lucchese.com.
