Pets have a special place in our heart. We adore our own. We love meeting others. And, we can’t get enough of people’s silly pictures of theirs. After seeing several cuties running around town attending events like Art in the Square and shopping at nearby boutiques, we wanted to take a moment to appreciate local pets.

So we put the call out to our readers to send us the cutest shots of their fluffy, furry, scaly and overall loveable animals.

While they were all cute, our team – with the help of our office dogs Sparky and Rory – put together a selection of some of our local favorites.

Our First Winner: Plum.
