2. Sprinkles Cupcakes Opens Southlake ATM
Shoppers saw a new ATM arrive in Southlake last month — a cupcake ATM, more specifically. Established in 2005, Sprinkles Cupcakes is a national dessert chain that sells a variety of red velvet and sprinkles cupcakes. While its closest Texas locations can be found in Dallas and Plano, Sprinkles recently established one of its signature cupcake ATMs in Southlake Town Square. You can check out the sweet ATM next to VANS at 1424 Civic Place right behind Southlake Town Hall.
3. Southlake Women’s Club Hosts Art In The Square
Over 200 renowned and emerging artists had their moment in the spotlight last month during the Southlake Women’s Club’s 22nd annual Art In The Square. Since 2000, Art In The Square has attracted national attention not just for its artistic talent, but for also being rated one of the top 10 art festivals in the country. The event featured a children’s zone, rock climbing and bungee jumping, live musical performances and the People’s Choice Award, where attendees voted for their favorite artist.
4. Don’t Call It A Comeback
After being closed for nearly 10 years, Dallas hot spot Sfuzzi came back to charm area diners with its delicious flavors and refined Italian cuisine. From its high-end cocktails and fan-favorite bellinis, Sfuzzi has an assortment of delightful dishes like chicken Parmesan, lasagna, oven-baked sea bass, pork chop piccata and more. And between the pizza, pasta and sweet desserts, diners will have more than a few reasons to pay a visit to Sfuzzi.
5. Malai Kitchen Named Among Best Brunch Spots In America
One of Southlake’s most beloved Thai franchises was recently named one of the best brunch spots in the nation. Earlier this spring, “Thrillist” published a list of the 41 best brunch spots in America. Malai Kitchen was one of them, commended for its brunch entrees and its all-day Sunday happy hour. With dishes like the Thai Eggs Benedict, the Congee with chicken and the Banh Mi French Toast, Malai Kitchen combines Thai and Vietnamese cuisine into a satisfyingly flavorful result.
