Southlake residents were all about the grub last month. From new restaurant openings to fun food-themed events, we can tell that Southlake is feeling hungry — and we’re here to satisfy their appetite.
1. Mozz Madness
Last month, we received over 800 votes in our inaugural Mozz Madness bracket to see which pizzeria was Southlake’s favorite. With featured restaurants including i Fratelli, Ristorante Mulino, Joe’s Pizza Pasta Subs, TruFire, Delucca Gaucho Pizza & Wine, Taverna Rossa, Armend’s Restaurante and Coal Vines, Southlake had plenty of fun voting on their favorite pizza. Texas Live! threw a big festival last month — specifically a mimosa festival! On March 13, brunch fans gathered at Texas Live! for the epic Mimosa Fest. Attendants grabbed drinks, socialized and had fun while sipping on their favorite brunch beverage. 4. Crisp & Green Opening In Southlake
A new fresh fast-casual restaurant is coming to Southlake. Founded in 2016, Crisp & Green is a health food franchise that offers salads, grain bowls and smoothies as part of its sustainable chef-crafted menu. While an opening date has not been provided yet for its upcoming location at 2438 E. Southlake Blvd., residents can stay up to date on its grand opening by texting “Southlake” to 972.688.6099.
5. Cream & Crepes Cafe Opens In Southlake
Southlake welcomed a new crepe shop to the area last month. Opening in Park Village, Cream & Crepes Cafe is a new dessert shop that sells a variety of crepes, cakes, waffles, pastries and homemade ice cream. Any of its ice cream flavors can be rolled or scooped between two warm cookies into an ice cream sandwich. Plus with additional vegan and non-dairy options, everybody can enjoy a bite at Cream & Crepes Cafe.
