Dec. 1-11 | Texas Trust CU Theatre
Experience the magic of Christmas Eve like never before with Twas The Night Before... by Cirque du Soleil! If you think visions of sugar plum fairies dancing are exciting, you’ll love this fantastical show complete with colorful costumes, hoop diving, a roller-skating duo, acrobats in colorful costumes and other high-flying adventures imbued with holiday charm. It’s Cirque du Soleil’s first Christmas show — and its Dallas debut is bound to be amazing!
Dec. 5-6 | Palace Theatre
Say howdy to the Texas Tenors as they come home for the holidays! The Emmy-winning group is made up of JC, Marcus and John, who bring their thrilling harmonies and beautiful ballads to life on stage. The band is the most successful music group and third highest-selling artist in the history of “America’s Got Talent,” and they now have five studio albums under their belt, as well as several awards, two PBS specials and the title of Billboard’s 10th Classical Artist in the World in 2019. Enjoy an evening with festive hits like “O Holy Night” and “Joy to the World.”

“The Nutcracker” is a cozy cup of your favorite hot cocoa, your beloved St. Nick ornament and your favorite Christmas carol. It’s a holiday tradition, and it’s absolutely enchanting every year! Texas Ballet Theater is performing this 1892 show once again, and viewers young and old will love watching the girl named Clara whose nutcracker comes alive on Christmas Eve. There are old-fashioned costumes, dazzling holiday sets, sugar plum fairies and an evil Mouse King. It’s a tradition for a reason!
Dec. 13 | Arlington Music Hall
Steve-O is coming to town, and he’s bringing his “Jackass” style of humor with him! The comedian (born Stephen Glover) is a stuntman, a clown college graduate and a “New York Times” bestselling author. This year, he joined Johnny Knoxville for the film “Jackass Forever” and released his second book, “A Hard Kick In The Nuts.” This comedian has an active YouTube channel with millions of views and a hit podcast called “Wild Ride With Steve-O,” but he loves making audiences laugh in person. It’s going to be funny, silly and a little painful, but a good time for all!
Dec. 16-18 | Meyerson
Get ready to scream “KEVIN!” for a good reason, because “Home Alone” in Concert is coming to the Meyerson this holiday season. The classic 1990 film stars Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister, an 8-year-old boy who accidentally got left at home over Christmas and has to ward off burglars with unique traps set around the house. Watch this beloved Christmas comedy in person as the Dallas Symphony Orchestra performs John Williams’ iconic score live to screen. It's cinema in a way you’ve never experienced before.
Dec. 14-18 | Willow Bend Center Of The Arts
North Texas Performing Arts' Community Theatre is performing "Scrooge! The Musical," featuring a fast-paced and fun full-length live musical production, pre-show Christmas carols and more holiday surprises! The musical closely follows the plot of Charles Dickens’ acclaimed book, "A Christmas Carol." Ebeneezer Scrooge has spent all his life accruing gold and allowing all his loved ones to slip through his hands. On Christmas Eve 1843, Scrooge is given the gift of one more chance to redeem himself for mankind and for his soul.

There’s no need to travel as the best comes to Southlake this holiday season. The APEX Arts League celebrates the holidays with a family-friendly concert featuring the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra right here at White's Chapel United Methodist Church! This monthlong, open-air event is filled with artisan booths and traditional fare like au- thentic German gingerbread and Linzer cookies with spiced jam. Stay warm while you shop by sipping on holiday-mulled wine or hot apple cider and singing along to Christmas music. It’s a great place to pick up unique presents or keepsakes for yourself.

His rosy cheeks are glowing. His red coat is gleaming in the cool winter air. And his smile lights up the evening as young children whisper their wishes to the jolly fellow. Santa Claus is coming to town — and he’s bringing plenty of Christmas spirit with him! Head to Santa’s Village in Southlake, where the man in red will be hanging out every day through Christmas Eve to take pictures with kids. Just make sure you come before Dec. 24, when Santa will load up the reindeer and deliver presents to all the kids on the nice list.

Rock out this holiday season with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra! This band has sold more than 10 million albums and has been named one of the top touring acts by Billboard, with its $20-million-plus production that entertains and delights audiences with sound, lights and magic. See them live as they perform The Ghosts of Christmas Eve show at both 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 28. It’s rock opera at its very best!

With its 50-foot-tall musical Christmas tree and dazzling Christmas Village, it’s no wonder Holiday at the Arboretum is a beloved tradition for families. Walk through the gardens to admire the 12 Days of Christmas displays, which are enriched with live performances on select dates. Shop for unique gifts in the European-style village, which transforms at night with live shop owners. New this year is The Artistry of Faith & Culture, featuring beautiful decorations for Christmas, Hannukah and Kwanzaa. Before you go, be sure to take a picture with Santa!

Usher in 2023 with Lights All Night 2022, the longest-running electronic dance music (EDM) festival in Texas! This weekend festival has a packed setlist and plans for “sensory overload of electronic goodness.” Wear neon, bring your friends and stay hydrated for this epic party! This adults-only party will also include food vendors with a wide variety of cuisine and a vendor village to score some one-of-a-kind souvenirs. After celebrating another year gone, you’ll probably sleep all throughout the actual New Year’s Eve (and that’s OK!).

Enchant Christmas is the next best thing to the North Pole (and much warmer!). A Christmas tree fit for royalty soars 100 feet overhead. Dazzling light tunnels make for amazing photo ops. And a brand-new Mischievous Elf Maze brings surprises and delights, where kids can help Eddie the Elf find eight lost toys hidden throughout Santa’s workshop. This world-class experience also includes an outdoor ice-skating rink surrounded by twinkling lights, a village straight from a Christmas card for shopping, a play place for littles, live entertainment and delicious refreshments. You can even say hi to Santa himself during this enchanting experience.

Bundle up — you don’t want to get stuck without gloves or a warm scarf at ICE! At Gaylord Texan, which is kept at 9 degrees (although, luckily, they provide huge puffy coats). This is the first ICE! event in two years, which is based on “The Polar Express.” You can see gigantic ice sculptures carved out of 2 million pounds of colorful ice and go down the carved slides at this (literally!) cool attraction made by four ice artisans over six weeks. Stay the night and enjoy many more holiday attractions with your family.
