Score your fall family photos and have fun at the same time at Grapevine’s PumpkinFest! For three weekends in October, you can pick out pumpkins to carve at the pumpkin patch, take pictures in cute photo-op areas and go on a Halloween-themed hike on the Meadowmere Park Trail. There will be delicious treats like freshly-squeezed lemonade and funnel cakes to sip and snack on. When the sun sets, the BooMan Group singing pumpkins will come out for a sensational performance. It’s delightfully spooky October fun!

The Whiskey Myers boys are growing up, but they’re still playing by their own rules. The band — made up of lead singer Cody Cannon, guitarists John Jeffers and Cody Tate, drummer Jeff Hott, bassist Jamey Gleaves and Tony Kent playing keyboards and percussion — released their latest album, “Tornillo,” over the summer. Jam out to the southern rockers as they perform some of their new songs at Dickies Arena later this month, including “John Wayne,” “Antioch” and “For The Kids.” The gritty, authentic “Yellowstone”-featured singers, known for hits like “Broken Window Serenade” and “Bury My Bones,” are sure to put on a one-of-a-kind show!

The Double Trouble 5K and 10K is the Lake Grapevine Runners and Walkers’ signature fall event at the Clubhouse in Oak Grove Park. Although it’s not that scary, this is still a fun fall race with beautiful lakeside views as you make your way through the course. Afterward, those 21 and over can enjoy a free beer from Hop & Sting Brewing Co.
