South Florida is the No. 1 spring break destination.

Domestic spring break travel will likely cost more thisbryear, increasing 14.7%, according to Southlake's own Travelocity.
The traditional travel period in the United States fallsbrbetween March 1 and April 15, with the top destination standpoints includingbrHawaii, South Florida and Las Vegas this spring.
"Though travelers are likely to face higher ticketbrprices for Spring Break 2014, smart shoppers can still escape the harsh winterbrand find travel deals," says Travelocity Senior Editor, CourtneybrScott. "Travelers should try to travel on off-peak days, bundle flight andbrhotel bookings into vacation packages and search flights in surroundingbrairports."
Based on Travelocity's “Price to Beat” data, the price tobrbeat for domestic airfare is $442 and $806 for international airfare.
Third time's the charm for South Florida, ranking the No. 1brspring break destination. Las Vegas rose in the ranks to No. 5 this year, upbrfrom No. 9 last year. The newcomer to the Top 10 list is Hawaii, snagging tobrtwo spots — with Maui at No. 9 and Honolulu at No. 10.
"This might be the year to venture abroad for SpringbrBreak," explains Courtney Scott, senior editor at Travelocity.br"Several international destinations have been trending in popularity overbrthe past three years including Belize City, Aruba, SanbrJuan, and the Netherlands Antilles."
The Top 10 list ranks South Florida, Orlando, Phoenix, FortbrMyers, Cancun, Los Angeles, Tampa/St. Petersburg, Maui and Honolulu as thebrmust-go spring break destinations.
