It wouldn’t be FÜDTRUKY without the FÜD! For the second annual food truck festival, happening June 23, we are bringing out more vendors than ever to feed Southlake. With everything from Italian favorites to burgers to tacos, FÜDTRUKY will offer something for everyone. We are expecting to have six trucks on sight offering an array of street food favorites.
Fort Worth’s Holy Frijole will be dishing out terrific tacos and other Mexican favorites. Their following has come to love their savory dishes and bright sauces that elevate their street food finds. One thing is for sure, you won’t leave this food truck hungry.
Big Kat Burgers will also be rolling out hearty dishes. The food truck is proud of their big, messy burgers made from hand-formed patties that are ground fresh daily. And with delicious toppings and sides, their entire menu is stacked with goodies. Take our word for it: You won’t want to miss their never-frozen, hand-cut, double-fried fries made from Idaho potatoes.
For more comfort food favorites, Jack’s Chowhound could be the truck for you. Their range of sandwiches – including a Fried Bologna Sandwich and a Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese – will keep you full throughout the day. Or for a festival go-to, try one of their jumbo hot dogs.
If you’d rather try a sausage, then head over to Just Encased. The food truck dishes out stacked, indulgent sausages topped with quality fixings – like a Chicken Fried Chicken Sausage topped with homemade mashed potatoes and gravy and the Ooh-Mami Beef Sausage topped with truffle mushroom duxelle, smoked gouda, bacon, green onions and chili mayo. You can also add on thick cut Cajun fries to help round out your meal.
Ever tried a waffle sandwich? Give it a whirl at Aunt Shirley's Food Truck. Their range of chicken and waffle options will have your mouth watering. They will also have catfish and waffles, fries and plenty of scrumptious desserts.
More filling favorites can be found at Chiave’s Italian Street Food Truck. They specialize in piadas, a thin flatbread stuffed with all kinds of goodies like cured meats, cheeses, veggies and sauces. You may have seen this truck at local hangouts like Shannon Brewing Company, but even newbies to their brand will quickly fall in love with their creations.
And what would FÜDTRUKY be without dessert? Pokey O's is making its return to the festival and will be serving ice cream sandwiches. Their sweets are just what you need on a warm day in May!
So come out to The Marq on June 23 ready to eat! Guests are sure to find something to get excited about with this stacked list of food trucks.
