October 5th will once again be the Carroll Dragons' annual Pink Out game in support of Komen Tarrant County. This year the Dragons take on district rival Keller Timbercreek at 7:30pm while donning pink armbands, t-shirts and other apparel items to showcase their support in finding a cure for breast cancer.
Fans are also encouraged to wear pink and donate generously as students walk the crowd collecting money in the easy to spot pink buckets. Originally started by concerned student Amy Moan and the Lady Dragons Volleyball team in 2007 the ever-popular movement took hold within the school. The first ever Pink Out football game was held two years later in 2009. Combined the school wide Pink Out! Games have brought in thousands of dollars to aid in funding local research.
