Concert goers at North Texas' first ever Suburbia Music Festival will enjoy performances by chart-topping, award winning bands and a diverse array of cuisines.
In addition to hearing acts such as Tegan and Sara, Alabama Shakes, Third Eye Blind and David Guetta, the festival will also highlight a large-scale of flavorful food experiences for fans. The goal is to provide something for every appetite in a relaxing, refreshing festival setting outdoors.
“The inaugural voyage of the Suburbia Music Fest will be filled with both great music and the finest outdoor food the area has to offer," says Danny Eaton, COO North American Concerts at Live Nation. "We could not be more pleased to have Legends catering and the Jones family on board to make sure this event is the ultimate in fan experience.”
A wide assortment of recipes will be prepared and served from food trucks, providing options to satisfy every palate during the two days of entertainment.
Food trucks -- many specifically from acclaimed local businesses in North Texas -- will feature a variety of cultural cuisines.
Sixteen eateries will park and set up shop at Suburbia Music Festival, including Urban Crust, Bombay Street Food, Charlie's Wings & BBQ and Cajun Tailgators.
Urban Crust specializes in woodfire oven pizza while Bombay Street Food is notorious for Indian comfort food such as samosa and beef tikka.
Charlie's Wings & BBQ and Cajun Tailgators will bring the Southern fare, featuring items such as pulled pork tacos and crawfish Étouffée.
Additionally, the acclaimed Legends culinary team — innovator in leading top-quality, chef-driven and from-scratch food at world event destinations including AT&T Stadium in Arlington — will also feature food trucks and additional food concepts, including the Tailgate Grill, at Suburbia with fan-craved signature recipes.
For instance, The Cowboy Cheese Steak Sandwich is a fan-craved recipe with spicy, Texas-style seasoning. Tender sirloin cut beef, topped with all natural jalapeño jack cheese, sautéed onions on a fresh house-baked Hoagie roll.
The food trucks will be strategically located throughout the festival site, with many in the Prairie performance area, and with food trucks in the Meadow and Cedar Room stage sections.
The stellar Suburbia musical lineup performing at Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve in East Plano begins at 11 a.m. on May 3 and continuing through the night of May 4.
