Sabre Corporation, thebrleading technology provider to the global travel industry and one of thebrcountry's happiest companies, has appointed Joe DiFonzo as Chief InformationbrOfficer (CIO), effective July 10.
As CIO, DiFonzo will havebrresponsibility for Sabre's enterprise technology organization, as well asbrcorporate information technology, and risk and security functions. He will alsobrbe tasked with building the next generation of tools and processes as Sabrebrcontinues to invest in enhancements to its technology infrastructure thatbrsupports airlines, hotels, travel agencies and corporate customers across thebrglobe.

DiFonzo brings to Sabre abrnearly 30-year career in technology leadership, He holds a bachelor's degree inbrcomputer science from the University of Central Florida.
