Southlake's own MopTop Hair, an award-winning salon haircare line known for its nourishing shampoos, conditioners and styling products, introduces its line of natural products at major retailers, including Target, Whole Foods and H-E-B, according to a recent announcement by the company.
"Our new MopTop line was created for the customer who wants hair care products that cost a bit less, but are still made with natural ingredients," said company founder Kelly Foreman in a press release. "We started MopTop to change the world – one frizzy head at a time – and our retail line will help more people embrace their natural beauty and enjoy their hair again."
Foreman was featured in Southlake Style's April edition.
“People tend to create an impression of others within the first three seconds of meeting them,” she told us. “So how you look, how you dress, how you present yourself overall, determines half of what you’re saying to another person. That can be a very crucial thing, particularly for young women. It’s all about self confidence.”
The current MopTop retail line consists of Clarifying Rescue Treatment, Gentle Shampoo, Co-Wash Cleansing Conditioner, Daily Conditioner, Light Conditioner, Leave-In Conditioner, Medium Hold Gel and Curly Hair Custard, along with a tear-free FuzzyDuck line for children.
Carefully formulated from all natural ingredients including aloe, sea botanicals and honey, the line is also free of sulfates, silicones, dyes, phthalates and parabens to let hair shine at its natural best. Products are also water-soluble, which makes second and third day hair care a breeze.
MopTop Hare Care products are specifically designed to tackle hair that is dry, kinky, wavy, curly or frizzy. MopTop products grew from Kelly’s own experience growing up with frazzled hair. Kelly experimented with natural blends and leading European shampoos and conditioners. “My shower looked like a retail store,” she says.
However, MopTop's retail line can be used for ALL hair types, ALL textures and ALL ethnicities, from fine straight hair to kinky-coily curls, and includes specialty products that give curly hair softness, definition and control without a crunchy feel, the way hair should be.
